Inspired by walks when I was peerie (small) with my dad we used to go around the Hoab between the Kirk and the old lighthouse and if there were any tirricks near they would try to dive bomb your heads so he would swap dockens above his head.

Hand illustrated and handmade lampshade, digitally printed onto organic cotton sateen which I find gives a beautiful subtle shine. I also chose to keep this design in black and white so the focus is on the nostalgic and delicate drawings.

Designs Story

Created this design during 2020 lock down, from all the costal walks me and my children went on . Sizes

If the shade should get dirty you can spot clean with a damp cloth.
I can make 3 different diameter sizes 20cm (17.5cm high), 30cm (21.5cm high) and 40cm (28cm high).
